I’m Sanaa Lathan — actress, artist, and lifelong explorer of what it means to feel genuinely fully alive.

After 30 years as an artist, I realized understanding human emotion and actually feeling better inside of it are two very different things. From the outside, life could look successful while internally I was still navigating anxiety, pressure, overthinking, and the constant search for peace within myself.

So, I started exploring.

Science and spirituality. Nervous system work. Breathwork. Meditation. Creativity. Ancient practices and modern tools. Some things helped immediately. Some didn’t. But over time, I began building a toolbox of practices that genuinely shifted how I felt.

BluBell came out of that journey.

What Is BluBell?

BluBell is a space where I share what I’m finding on the path to feeling better — not just healthier or happier, but more grounded, connected, curious, and alive.

This isn’t a wellness brand pretending to have all the answers. It’s an honest, ongoing exploration of what helps us navigate being human a little better.
